Not sure what to say?

I have known Sonny (John) since the fall of 1971. We were in the same pledge class, along with 10 others, for our fraternity (Kappa Sigma). We were affectionately known as the dirty dozen. We were good friends and played softball together for the fraternity. I admired his ability to simultaneously play "goalie" and third base. After graduation, we kept in touch and over all those many years would often get together for reunions, dinner, drinks and many laughs. I will greatly miss our...

John was a dear friend, colleague and paesano for over 40 years. He was a favorite of my parents, especially when he brought blue corn sour dough Loafin Around bread to our New Year´s Eve celebrations. Characteristically, he made a special trip to visit my Father in Hamden, Connecticut, about 2 weeks before my Dad passed away. We met at the Radian offices in Tysons Corner, VA where I worked for him. We discovered that when he was in Great Britain he had helped campaign for my Mother´s...

I'll never forget our college days and 50 years of get togethers after.

I first met John in the second grade at Thomas Jefferson School. We were members of what I regarded as our school family up to the sixth grade. I last saw him at our 50th High School reunion.

John was not only a classmate of mine but we were together in home room for many years. Always such a pleasure to see and chat with when we had our high school reunions. I was happy that at our last one we spent time chatting after the reunion. All wonderful memories of a great guy. Rest in peace my friend.

John & I always stopped in on his home town, New Britain,on our travels up north. Showed me his old home & cemetery where his parent are. He was always kind & had a wonderful personality. I miss him dearly & will be forever, the love of my life.
