Gone but not forgotten

I can't believe this. My good friend has passed. John placed faith in my untested abilities. John, thank you!

John was always a supportive friend to me personally, and a generous advocate for the Epilepsy Foundation. Through his hard work and commitment to the nonprofit world and helping others, he definitely left the world a better place.

In my last correspondence with John I had told him I was praying for a miracle, and his response was " We do need a miracle here, although, I think the transition is a miracle unto itself. " I am awed by his faith and the importance it played in his...

I did not personally know John, nor have met him, but I volunteered last month with my brother Walter Chin and his wife Deniece during the fundraiser/tribute gathering at his garage while I was in town.

The gathering was to pay homage and respect with family, friends, and well-wishers to a beloved home-town favorite. John's legacy will live on - to those close to him and to the warm people of Ohio.

I was fortunate enough to have met many of his friends who loved him, and to...

Vickie and family, I heard of John's passing from Aunt Jewell, who called us in Knoxville. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. Your cousin, Debbie (Ross) Acuff

John was a giant idea man and such a gentleman. John always made time to talk with me and his words were always helpful. He would show up at the 2nd Street Market as we did the British car show there each year. He always had support for our endeavors and I was truly blessed to know him. My condolences go out to the family and I will miss him always and think of him frequently and what he provided for us all to appreciate. Thank you John for the time you graciously gave me.

I am glad I got the pleasure of knowing him and the family. John touched all of us Steve, "other" Steve, Nole, myself and the others and he will be missed. Our thoughts are with you guys. Take care.

John, it has been a pleasure just sharing my life with you and your family. God speed.
