Doneta, Our hearts ache for you. In our memories John was always smiling so it is hard to learn that the hurt went so deep. We are praying for you, knowing that God is powerful to bring something good from this pain.

We know that during the July 4th Stony Brook Kids' parade, John's spirit was there sitting in his favorite lawn chair, holding a minature American flag in one hand and smiling and waving to the kids with the other.
