Doneta, Our hearts ache for you. In our memories John was always smiling so it is hard to learn that the hurt went so deep. We are praying for you, knowing that God is powerful to bring something good from this pain.

Dear Doneta,
We know that during the July 4th Stony Brook Kids' parade, John's spirit was there sitting in his favorite lawn chair, holding a minature American flag in one hand and smiling and waving to the kids with the other. May God hold you in the palm of HIS hand until you two meet again. With love and friendship and prayers,

Doneta, no human words can console the heart in the quiet moments when you are alone and wanting the closeness of your missing loved one. But, please through faith talk to God, scream your pain, whisper your sorrow and let Him provide the comfort and intimacy you crave. And when all else fails to bring peace to your aching heart – petition the Holy Spirit to make a request to God on your behalf for comfort and peace and He will. From my heart to one of God's most beautiful people in her moment of sorrow –I offer my love, hugs and prayer.
