Rev. John D. Doherty

Fr. Doherty was a very prayerful priest, he loved his ministry and loved life. He was devoted to Our Lady of Perpetual Help. He loved to play tennis and was an avid Boston Red Sox Fan and Patriots fan. He loved to read and recite poetry. He was a hospital chaplain for many years and had a special bond with the sick and infirmed giving them spiritual comfort as well as a kind shoulder to lean on.
