Not sure what to say?

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Dean was such a wonderful person. I met Dean when he was with my special friend Holly. He had a wonderful sense of humor that always put smiles on everyone he met. I send my sincere condolences to Mary and to his children.

I´ll always remember Deano as a fantastic A-6 Intruder pilot instructor back in VA-128 at NAS Whidbey. He calmly prepared me for my first flight in the A-6 pilot seat on September 2, 1976. As a a result of his briefing I wasn´t nervous at all. He may have been as he didn´t have any easy access to the flight controls, but didn´t show it. We had a great flight and for me an unforgettable experience. All the best to his family.

The Snohomish High School Class of 1961 sends it's condolences to Mary and all of Dean's family and friends. Dean was well thought of, a natural leader, and a fine individual. I (as well as many of his classmates) am honored to have been a friend of Captain Dolquist.

Dean was a very talented drummer in Snohomish High School marching and concert band. It was a pleasure to be in the same percussin group and also watch him excell in high school athletics-football and track(just like his older brother Don who retired from the military too). Thank you for your Service! mike johnson
