Not sure what to say?

John Dowd is still my absolute favorite teacher. He taught me to read at least the first two pages of the newspaper every day; that it was the duty of a citizen to be informed. That is so important especially now, where there is so much misinformation spread about. I read and listen to the news constantly because of this man. I still think of him often, even though my North High graduation was 54 years ago.

My Deepest Condolences to the Dowd Family!
He was a Great man and he will be Greatly missed!!

My prayers are with you,Love from Betty and all your Friends at the Four Seasons Restaurant

Aunt Jean: I am praying for you today and hope that you can find that peaceful place in your heart during the days to come. We loved Uncle John and will miss him and all that he contributed to our family. Nancy White

If every teacher in the country could be half as good as this man, education in this country would be in fantastic shape. Every thing I know about history started with the seeds planted by this amazing...
