Not sure what to say?

Ruth and I with Rebecca's boys, Syris and Rowyn.

Jane,
A delayed reading od the ND Alumni Magazine told me of Kevin's passing. Rest in Peace, Kevin. Still have good Syracuse memories of contract bridge with you two and Dr. Marye, and Sunday basketball games at St. Lucy's. Ruth and I send our best. Be well.

When news of the passing of John Kevin Doyle, known to me as Kevin, was sent to me by Gary Watson of the Australian auction house, Prestige Philately, I felt very sad to think what a generous and active man the world had lost. Although I did not know him personally, Kevin was very generous to me and the readers of our magazine, 'Australian Stamps Professional'. He was so kind in granting us permission to publish the thrilling 1915 report of the Postmaster General of German New Guinea, found...

The GCCG will miss you. Tschuss.

Jane and family,
I was shocked when we returned from vacation and found the email of Kevin's passing. He was a great co-worker and friend. We spent lots of long hours together working issues on 3B computers or the StarServer platforms. He was always ready to assist in any way he could. His love of scouting was real. I remember him asking me to come restore a carving of an Indian face as part of Neal's Eagle project. I sincerely enjoyed working with Kevin and have lots of great memories...

I always liked Kevin and was happy to share many experiences with him at Chicago Philatelic Society and Collectors Club of Chicago. He was one of the best workers and always pitched in to do what needed to be done. Bless you Jane and know we love you too.

When I sat with Kevin in one of my last visits with him, he shared with me that "the answer is in the question" and we need to pass on not the answers, but the questions. What a wise man! He will be truly missed.

Claudia and I express our deepest sympathies. Kevin will be remembered as a treasured friend and spirited philatelist. Jane and family, you are in our prayers.

We will miss Kevin; and pray for the family
S Helen Jilek

I shall remember Kevin with the fondest of memories--as a fellow philatelist and researcher/writer, our years of working for and on behalf of CPS, CCC, APS, APC; working together on philatelic literature juries, and more. Connie and I are grateful to know him as a friend. We shall miss him. May he rest in peace. Ben Ramkissoon
