Although we were better acquainted with Janet, than John, I think it´s fair to say that both left a very favorable, positive, and lasting impression on anyone who had the pleasure and privilege of knowing them. The beautifully written obituary allowed us to remember and appreciate their ongoing contributions to the community. Sincere sympathy to their family.

I worked as John's secretary for the Mauch Chunk Museum and Mauch Chunk Ballroom. At ballroom events - past Victorian Balls and annual tea parties, John entertained us all with his wonderful singing and tap dancing! He will be missed. Fondly, Barbara and Dottie Mumma

I met John a few years ago through a mutual friend and he and Conny visited my home and we also we a few times to "Jimmy's" in Hazleton. Last September he attended my 80th birthday party and we all had the pleasure of watching him dance to the music of the "Bee's Knees Band." What a fun time we all had and what a kind and gentle man he was. I wish I had known him longer. I will never forget him. May he rest in peace.
