Not sure what to say?

Had the pleasure and good fortune of working with Mary Ann for the past two years in Somers Point. The pride she and John had in their family and community was evident in so many of our conversations. He will surely be missed by many.

Every happy memory of Longport & Parti Pak Deli includes John Duffey. Whether we were all sitting on 32nd street beach together or working in the Deli, John made us laugh every minute. My deepest condolences to Mary Ann & his family. My thoughts & prayers to you.

Another Roman "69" classmate of John. We have a close and intimate class. We morn our loss. But, it does not compare with the loss of a husband, father and pop-pop. My sincerest condolences. We were beginning to schedule our 50th reunion. John will be missed. I never developed the "words" to say or write, that Mr. Durkin tried to instill in his English class. But my mom taught me: Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always...

Mary Ann and Erin,

I was so sad to hear of John's passing. He was an amazing man who always made me feel like one of the family during your trips to SC. I hope that you can find peace in your memories of him. Please know that I am thinking of you during this, the most difficult of times. My heart goes out to your family.

Mary Ann and Duffey Family, so sorry for your loss. John was a great boss, and even better man. So many memories from working at Parti Pak! Know that John touched so many lives in the community.

As a classmate of John, I, and his brothers from the RCHS class of 1969, are saddened to hear of his passing. We all know that John is now in the arms of the Lord looking down upon us. May the Lord give you all comfort during this most difficult time. The Duffey and Cleary families are in our thoughts and prayers. May God bless you all.
