I remember Mr. Faraone at Cavaliers Country Club in the 1970's when I was a junior member and the weekend Starter for several years while I was in high school. He nearly always played with Mike Poppiti. John Julian and Vince DiSabatino at 7:00 a.m. and they would set the pace of the course for the day. They played quickly and were usually in the clubhouse by 10:15 a.m. He was always nice to me and I'm sorry to hear he passed away. I wish his family peace during this tough time in their...
