Coach Flaherty will always be in my memory. His humor surfaced while he was dedicated to the task of moulding young men toward maturity within the teams he so sucessfuly coached.

We would like to extend our condolences to the whole Flaherty and Kelleher familes your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

Jack Flaherty was one of the finest teacher-coaches I have ever seen. Moreover, he was the patriarch of one of the finest families I have ever been privileged to know. My sincere condolences to the Flaherty family over the passing of a truly wonderful human being.

I grew up in Shrewbury playing basketball at the Flaherty residence every Friday and Saturday night throughout the school season. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your extended family and to have such great memories of my childhood spent at your home.

We are so sorry for your loss and the kids loss of their grandfather. Matt and I wish we could say something that would make it better but as we all know -nothing can. No matter how long we have them here it is never long enough. We will miss Uncle John so very much! He was always smiling and had a hug that would not let go. There are so so many great memories. Please know we are here if you should need anything.

All our thoughts, love and prayers go out to you all,
Theresa...
