John has moved on to join with the Great Architect of the Universe, leaving me to ponder how I am diminished by the regret of not having known the wit from those earlier years. Linda, I never knew your father but I just wanted to let you know, he provided me with one of my fond chilhood memories. How I envied the man who drove the Linde Air truck when I walked to school that parked in the alley across from West End School. I just had to write you as an old classmate that never forgot our days at West End and extend my deepest sympathy in your loss.
