John Charles Fletcher

Dr Fletcher was a great teacher and helped so many of us during our residencies, for many years. He and his partner Dr Morris Noble, were instrumental in helping me build my practice when I opened my office, and provided excellent consultation care to many patients I referred to him for GI care over the years. He was a wonderful man, and a superb doctor.

I was briefly a patient of Dr Fletcher and it was because of his compassionate care and expert medical knowledge that my pancreatic tumor was discovered. I went on to have successful surgery and treatment- that was over ten years ago and I´m still going strong. I always remember Dr Fletcher and am eternally grateful for him.

I was very fortunate to have Dr. Fletcher as one of my best mentors when I started my residency in 1983. His breadth of knowledge and kindness has helped me throughout my career. Thank you Dr. Fletcher and may you rest in peace.

I first met John at Children's Hospital in the early 1980´s in the department of medicine. For many years he was one of the leading teachers and practitioners of medicine in San Francisco. He will be missed.

Rest in peace my great friend!!

I met Dr Fletcher when he was an Attending at SFGH. His friendliness, sincerity, and expertise are memorable all these years later. May the angels lead him into Paradise.
