Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear about John's passing today. I was the manager of Haffners Service Station in Tewksbury, and enjoyed his demeanor and storytelling. I'll miss his smiling face.

Thoughts and prayers to the family of a very special gentleman, dad, granddad and great granddad.

I don't think anyone could remember "Johono" more than me. Living one home away from "Tat's", I almost lived there. I shoveled snow from in front of the store, we (my friends) hung out in front, and Johno, Hap, Margaret, and Leo, were like family. So we turn yet another page in the history of Wilmington, particularly, Silver Lake...John was a fixture at Tattersalls.. along with Margaret and Hap, the memories are not about the store, they´re about the people...all of whom are etched into my nostalgic memory bank... thanks, John... it was a pleasure to know you...!!!

So sorry for your loss. Will always remember your Dad as far back as when I was a kid going into Tat´s for ice cream when at the lake. He was a good man.
