Not sure what to say?

John will live forever in the many stories he has produced for all of our family. Gillian in particular tells the story of John driving the young Chip and Ricky up sand piles at a quarry in the jeep and the fantic response from Bee. At The George Washington University, her friends connect her with the stories of John and Dort climbing mountain passes too narrow to turn around in and John's becoming confused and Dort just driving up the pass and down the other side. Her East coast friends ...

Uncle John was a great uncle. He had that deep voice and mischevious laugh that meant he was about to tickle you. What fun to be a kid and go visit Fort Lupton.
Also, I remember he was the first to arrive the day our Dad died. That must have been a huge comfort for Mom.

Thanks for all the great childhood memories Uncle John. You were our favorite Uncle.

Love to the family

I will also remember John as the fun uncle who nibbled on my ears and tickled me when i was a little girl. He was so much fun and I have always enjoyed spending time with him!! He always made me smile. He was very kind and generous to others. The world is a better place because of John Grieve. Please accept my sympathies.
