John Grayson Grimes

John was an amazing leader and public servant. We all owe him a debt of gratitude.

Many great men walk this earth but few leave foot prints the likes of those John G. Grimes has left us. John led several generations on paths to success through kindness and generosity of wisdom and spirit. So sorry to read. John Grimes was one of a kind. I worked with him and for him and I respected him very much. He was a true patriot. His loss marks the end of an era.

Mr. Grimes was a true gentleman and I learned a lot from him when he was the DoD CIO. We traveled around the Pacific theater together visiting US military and allies. He always showed how much he cared about our people. He mentored so many of us. May God bring you peace during this difficult time.
