Just learned of Jay's "leaving". So shocked! I've been wondering for many months about Jay and Carol, their whereabouts, well-being, etc.. Just so sorry to know of his suffering and the Family's loss.
I worked with Jay at WDLW Radio in the eighties. He was an earnest, creative, witty, very likable guy. Sadly, the last place I saw Jay was at the wake of another radio peer, Mark Burns, December '92. I recall, clearly, Mark was very appreciative of Jay's talents, and so I believe...
