John Thomas Guilfoyle

John Thomas Guilfoyle, 56, of Everett, WA, succumbed unexpectedly to heart disease on November 1, 2010.
Born on May, 17 1954 in Chicago, IL to James K. and Josephine M. (O'Neill) Guilfoyle, John was a long time resident of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. He worked as a union electrician in the San Francisco Bay area, prior to serving in the U.S. Army in Germany. He worked for the past 22 years at the Boeing Corporation in Everett and Renton, Washington as a safety inspector.
John was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Frank; and nephew, Jonathan.
He is survived by his sisters and brother, Mary Guilfoyle, of Everett, WA, James K. Guilfoyle, Jr. (wife, Patti), of Fontana, WI, Edith Guilfoyle, of Lake Geneva, WI, Catherine Guilfoyle, of Simi Valley, CA, and Susan Festenstein (husband, Martin), of Arlington Heights, IL; along with seven nieces and nephews.
No burial service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in John's name to the ASPCA or to the Everett, Washington Animal Shelter.

John was a great guy. He enjoyed going for a cruise in the car, searching for the "best" burger or thin crust pizza, or just kicking back with a good book. He was a wonderful conversationalist and had great sense of humor. I am honored to say he was a friend of mine.
