I found your father´s bench in the park yesterday and felt compelled to look him up. I am so grateful to him and your family. I am sorry that you father and family paid the ultimate price for our country. I want you to know that people feel the gravity of this sacrifice and feel true and heartfelt gratitude. I too am here as a result of coming across your father's bench at Mayfield Park. It has provided respite many times, and is a very favorite spot for solace and reflection. Each time I visit, as I am doing today, I have a moment of quiet and gratitude for your father's service and sacrifice. I only wish I would have been successful about 5 years ago the first time I tried. My prayers go out to your young family. You were a good bud, and we had some fun times. MEMORIAL DAY 2013 - Although it is only 5/23/13, Memorial Day is approaching quickly! I cannot help but to think of your family when I am daily in thought of Sean. The the brother you are, the father you are, the husband you are, the friend you are... Each and every one of these things I am thoughtful of, but this weekend I am especially thoughtful of what a HERO you are! You are missed! To Amber & Jack my heart aches for what your loss means to each of you. To Lisa, I can't imagine the pain you suffer as his sister, but I know how proud you are of the man and HERO he has become, that shall never fade, just as he shall never be forgotten! Dear Family, I didn't know your loved one but when I read via my company email (I'm a DTE employee) that he was a fallen soldier, I clicked the link to read about him. In looking at the pictures of him, I could see that he was probably quite a character and fun to be around. It looks as though he enjoyed his life, his family and friends, and left you with some great memories. The coming days, weeks, months, and even years will be difficult, but hold on to your faith and each other at this time.
