Back in the Golden Years while at TJ, when our rock `n roll band wanted to evolve to play rhythm and blues, we recruited "Big John" to play sax. It was a bit of a stretch for John to transition from Cadet Corps music to rhythm and blues, but John brought Gary, the trumpet player, along with him from the Cadet Corps Band, and together, featuring our singers, the Fantastics, we made it as an authentic R & B band!
