John J. Hartz

John was one of a kind. The world is a dimmer, duller place without him in it. My condolences to everyone.

The members of the Retirees' Chapter of the North Babylon Teachers' Organization send their deepest sympathy to the Hartz family on John's passing.

He was like a big brother to me, Jerry & I both took his name for our Conformation. Heaven is getting a good one

I was deeply saddened to learn of John´s passing. I had the privilege and pleasure of knowing John in the years I was a speech therapist in the North Babylon schools, first at the many CSE meetings he chaired, and later when he was principal of DeLuca Elementary. Of the many lovely qualities he held, I remember most fondly his positive optimistic perspective, which seemed to inform all of us who knew him. I offer my sympathy to all of you in John´s family at this time of loss.

We will raise a glass to Mr. Hartz, a great friend to my Dad and all-around legend of a man. Our condolences to Mrs. Hartz and the Hartz family from the Burnses.

I am so sorry to hear the passing of John. I had the ultimate pleasure of working at William E. Deluca, while John was principal. He was hands down the best principal that Deluca EVER had and will ever see. Please Except my sincere condolences to the entire Hartz family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. He is up there singing "Danny boy" and entertaining everyone!
