Many wonderful memories at OBC, Reverend Hasel and Mrs. Hasel. I am so sorry about Mr. Hasel. A wonderful man.

I has been a blessing to know and love Mr. Hasel. My favorite thing I will miss is his insightful assistance with Pastor Roger's sermons. We were all blessed to have known him.

I want to offer my sympathy to the family. I remember Rev. and Mrs. Hasel very clearly from the early 50's (I was born 1945) when my grandmother, Elsie Settle, sang in the Oakley Baptist choir and I attended the Sunday School. Although I am less sure of this, my memory tells me David and Joy were the first two children. Rev. Fellowship was blessed to have John as part of our body. We absolutely cherished and will miss what he continually brought to the teaching. It was evident he loved The Lord and we certainly love and will miss John.

Wishing God's blessings on Rev. Hasel's family, including his daughter Mrs. Jude Davis a long-time friend from Pittsburgh. I celebrate the life and ministry of a special servant of God.
