John was my first publisher. I worked with John for several years in publishing and marketing my book on public speaking. John saw potential in my manuscript and was a great editor, lpublisher, mentor, advisor, and friend. I am grateful for John and his effort to build a great publishing company.

Dear Kae and Family,
We were so sad to hear of your loss and know of the heart ache that comes when you lose someone so dear! At this time we are so thankful for the understanding of the Gospel which gives us peace, knowing we will be with our loved ones once again. We know he is in a better place, what comfort that brings. Ours prays are with you at this time. It makes us ponder on "Family", and the importance of having strong family ties that helps us get through this trial in life.

so sorry to hear of the loss.of Mr Hawkes.I met him a few times,in the 80's when i went to school whith nephi at Oakridge Elemen,He was a very nice man,,,,,,God Bless

I always remember helping John collate his books. Going around the tables putting them together. I am deply sad for his passing, but also know he is in a good place.
