Not sure what to say?

John was a good friend to my husband, Marty. Marty composed music to lyrics that John wrote. They were both creative geniuses, and really enjoyed one another's company which was great because Pat and I were then free to enjoy our time together, too. Dear Heinz family-

I met Jack when I was first invited to lunch at Beth Steel Company by Marshall Post and others in media and public relations. He soon became a special friend, one who encouraged my writing and, invariably, the first person at the lunch table to make us all laugh and usually the one person who would 'speak truth to power' as we discussed more serious matters. We met Jack when he was living at Fox Hill Farm in Glen Mills,
Pa. Our friendship was spontaneous and long-lasting. He
always made us laugh. We will miss him very much, but we
think he has been promoted and will now be writing heavenly
compositions for celestial personnel. We send our love and
prayers to his whole family. Meg & Marty Wendel
