Not sure what to say?

Please accept my deepest sympathies.

John was a good and kind man that did so much for so many people. It was a pleasure to know him and I am thankful for God's mercy that he did not suffer with some horrible illness later in life. Godspeed.

MR. JOHN, YOU ARE THE LIGHT 4 US IN ST AUGGIE.NEVER HAS ONE MAN DONE SO MUCH FOR SO MANY.YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN OUR THOUGTHS@ PRAYERS.YOUR EXTENTED FAMIKLY FROM SLUGGERS.RIP OUR FRIEND.

John was a member of my Senior High School class (it was my only year at Ocala High). He was always a gentle man - he was there when I needed him when my parents died - John Wells and Virginia Wells. The world has been a better place because of John's life. Thank you, John

I'm so sorry that John is gone. My prayers are with his family. I graduated highschool with John in 1952. He was a great guy then and all his life. He was kind, and he was so well dressed.

Mr. Hiers was a true gentleman. I was privledged to have worked with him while he served on the State Pilot Commission. On behalf of the Florida State Pilots' Association, I extend our deepest sympathy.

John was a dear and beloved childhood friend of mine and the entire Tatum Family.
We went through all the same schools together-Ocala Senior High and the U. of F. Our families were inseparable through out our lives. John will be greatly missed. We were to have spent Easter together.

What a lost for Ocala and
Hiers Funeral Home.
I was born in Citra and grew up in Ocala and worked for Mr. John in Highland Mem. Park.
Mowing weedeating and working funerals.
Know I live in Amory Mississippi and I work for a great Funeral Home that does great work like Hiers Funeral Home does.
May Mr. Hiers rest in peace and his family know that He is now with Jesus.
