Johnny was a close friend from 1st grade in Perry to somewhere in college in Atlanta. Our families often celebrated Thanksgiving together. His mother, Ann, and my mother, Marjorie, were best friends. Our fathers, John Sr., and Bill Suber, often hunted together. The Houser family treated me as one of their own.
