Not sure what to say?

I´m so sorry for your loss. I remember being interviewed for a position at his agency and he was such a kind man. RIP

John lived around the corner from our House with his Mother and Her Dad, Judge Hertzberg. John was the first Eagle Scout in out Troop at Park Street Methodist Church where John also taught Sunday School. I have many memories of John being my Counselor at Camp Glisson.

Johnny AND i JOINED THE CHURCH TOGETHER, HE BY transfer of membership and I by baptism of faith. We grew as our friendship grew over the years. Even though I married and moved away, we remained good friends forever. He was a GREAT MAN ! Sara Pelot

Mr. Hunsinger,
I am working on a project & thought of you today. Your wisdom, works, & contributions to humanity will never be forgotten. I am forever grateful to have known you through GT and The Atlanta Touchdown Club. We miss you.
P.S. We beat UGA! #THWG

What a model life of accomplishment and charity, a life fully lived.

I met Mr. Hunsinger as a young GDOT Negotiator during the 'Free the Freeway' in the 80's. I was as nervous as could be as I made the offer that day in his office. He went out of his way to put me at ease.
I remember his wit as well. He looked at the offer and said'Ms Ford, that's just not enough'. 'Why', I asked. 'It's never enough', he replied.
Our paths crossed at different social functions, and he always remembered my name. The complete Southern Gentleman.
I'm glad I...

PEEPLES STREET ELEMENTARY, 1937

Johnny and I grew up in West End during the depression. I remember him all the way back to the first grade at Peeples Street elementary in 1937. Johnny worked very hard to become a very good football player and student. He was involved in many activities as a boy that contributed to his very successful career.

My condolences to his family!

Johnny and I grew up together in West End, attended Peeples Street Elementary and Brown High. We were good friends all the way through high school. I remember double dating with him in an old buick.

Johnny was an amazing person who fulfilled his life with
great accomplishments.

I am proud to have known Johnny and extend my sympathy to his family.
