Emma and family,
I know where John got his early riser tendencies. He and I had paper routes in Boise when he was growing up. He had 15th street and I had 14th street. We both walked together every morning at 4 am for several years to where the papers were dropped off. If one of us should accidentally oversleep, the other was always there to wake him up. I started out as John's backup for when he went on vacation and then got the route on 14th.
I saw him at the BHS 30th year...
