John was a gifted young man when I had him as a student at Mater Dolorosa School. Later I would see him working at Stop and Shop and we would play catch up, 20 minutes later, I would have forgotten what I was there for. One day he gifted me with a painting of Copernicus. He was very thoughtful. May he rest in peace.
