Not sure what to say?

My Hero! He was an elite builder but never let work get in the way of a chance to throw, or attend, a great party. I will forever miss John Lauer and his mischievous smile. He was living proof that you don't have to grow up! Nobody could hold a candle to John's after hour antics. I was fortunate to be his friend.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will always remember John's generous contributions to Craig and Samantha's Wedding! Particularly the amazing crab feast to kick off the weekend festivities. His warmth and generosity made our family feel welcomed, and we will always have fond memories of him.

The world is a poorer place today, yet all who knew and loved John are the richer for it. John taught me the meaning of selflessness and generosity. He gave to all and asked for nothing in return. I just imagine a world without "Big" John in it. Rest easy my friend. As an avid boater, I wish you blue skies, calm seas and a peaceful voyage. I will always take great pride and pleasure in calling you my friend. God Bless you....always.

Working for John in those early years, had a huge impact for me throughout my journey in life. He taught me just about everything you needed to know about the construction process, as well a few things about life in general, these things helped me just about every day as I moved my way through life, and these are things I am very grateful for. John also lent a helping hand to just about anyone that asked and did many favors for many. One of the nicest people to walk the planet. you couldn't...

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

John played a pivotal role in my decision to pursue my dream of becoming an independent salon owner. His confidence and genuine warmth inspired me to take the leap, despite my fears. John always had a way of making you believe that anything was possible. He was a generous soul who would give the food from his plate and the shirt off his back without hesitation. I am certain that he has greatly impacted the lives of many, and his absence will be deeply felt. Rest in peace, John. -Heather Little
