A great man of character and dynamic musician. I will always remember him because he shared him talent with me as I was trying to master the piano. I will always remember him. "My Mentor. " Carrie Alsop, Class of '61.

Gone but not forgotten. Thank you for being a guiding force over the years. May you continue to rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy to the entire family. You are in my prayers. John Horace was a dear friend. I will miss him at the organ and piano on Sunday. His commitment to the Lord's work was evident throughout his life in our community. Rest in Peace my friend.

It took me a while to find the words but praise be to God they are here. Mr. Lee was truly a treasure to me and my family. I shall never forget the care he took in training our dear Hope to become an even greater pianist for the Lord. He was indeed a friend of our family. The Late Rev. William Scott, Hope Elizabeth and I. Now he is resting with them in glory. The Lord bless and keep his family, friends and many who knew and loved him. John will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known him. I thought of him as a gentleman, friend and cherished patient.

Mr. Lee was music at Central High! He made sure we knew all genres of music in band and choir. To this day I still hear the alto note in any song I listen to. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Mr Lee.
