Dad 1986

I can't believe it's been a year today that you went away. I miss you so much every day. I will always remember you just like this picture...

Thinking of You with Love
We thought of you with love today,
but that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday,
and days before that too.
We think of you in silence,
we often speak your name.
All we have are memories,
and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake,

I never realize how lonely a room could be or how lonely a day could be without you to share it. For the hours pass so slowly without you.But I have memories.Happy memories of the times we shared and gentle memories of times alone with you. I keep the thoughts of you warm and close in my heart. I'd give a lifetime and the world for you to be warm and close in my arms.
I miss you Alan
Right in my heart, there will always be you.

Dear Mary and Family,
It saddened me to hear of Alan's death. I remember him with great fondness. His wit, humor and smile will be missed. Mary, he adored you and I will always remember while I was visiting my sister, Margaret, at work, the loving looks and smiles he always gave you.

Sincerely and fondly,
Aurelie Cantwell Haskell

I JUST read this and I am sooo very sorry for you Mary. I have known you both for many years and we had sooo many good times and laughs in the 14 years I worked at the Shores. I will always remember Alan as a kind, funny guy who would do anything for anyone. He certainly adored you Mary. I am sorry for his children but want you to know what an amazing man your dad was to so many. God Bless you all until you meet again someday!!!

To a great man. Thank you for enriching my young life. May your spirit live forever. Love ya Jason

To the smartest most decent man I ever had the pleasure of knowing. A good man that I am proud and blessed to have called dad. I know you are in a better place - your soul amongst the cosmos. Finally in a place big enough to embrace your greatness. Thank you for always being there for me dad. You are my friend, my hero and my father. God speed you to the other side dad. I wont miss you too much as you are, as you have always been, a part of me - with me - eternally at my side.
Your...
