John,
I just heard the news today. I can't really believe it. It was rare that I would stay in touch with someone I worked with back in mid 90's but its obvious to me. You are a unique, one of a kind guy with a truly dynamic personality and it was a pleasure to know you personally and professionally and to hear from you every so often even though I defected to the west coast. One in a million and I will miss our conversations that always started with your catch phrase "Have ya heard?"...

To John's family, I just learned of your tragic loss. John was one of my most favorite people at Loon. Everytime I saw John he always brought a smile to my face. When he asked you how you were, he really wanted to know. He will be truly missed.

As sure as I am that he is gone I know he is still with all of us. We will carry him in the spring in our step, the flash of our smile and the firmness of...

To John's family - I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember John's smile and funny stories during all those years at Loon. I hope there is plenty of powder and bumps where you are now, John.

I hope they let you wear all that obnoxiously fresh clothing wherever you are. You made us laugh and now you made us cry, but whenever wolfpack smashes cold beers together it will be to toast all the great memories and to open our mouths as wide as possible, tilt our heads back, and laugh as loud as possible while drinking at the same time. God bless your family.
