John,
I just heard the news today. I can't really believe it. It was rare that I would stay in touch with someone I worked with back in mid 90's but its obvious to me. You are a unique, one of a kind guy with a truly dynamic personality and it was a pleasure to know you personally and professionally and to hear from you every so often even though I defected to the west coast. One in a million and I will miss our conversations that always started with your catch phrase "Have ya heard?" Be well old friend.

To John's family, I just learned of your tragic loss. John was one of my most favorite people at Loon. Everytime I saw John he always brought a smile to my face. When he asked you how you were, he really wanted to know. He will be truly missed.

John gave me my first skiing lesson. He gave me my first car, free and clear. He taught me to drive on the highway, FAST. He showed me the beauty of Nantucket. He encouraged me to be excited about makeing tough decisions and planning for the future. He wanted me to go to his college. He was a role model and I'm very proud to be his sister. As sure as I am that he is gone I know he is still with all of us. We will carry him in the spring in our step, the flash of our smile and the firmness of our handshake. Many many thanks and much love to all of you.

I hope they let you wear all that obnoxiously fresh clothing wherever you are. You made us laugh and now you made us cry, but whenever wolfpack smashes cold beers together it will be to toast all the great memories and to open our mouths as wide as possible, tilt our heads back, and laugh as loud as possible while drinking at the same time. God bless your family.

For Susan and I the second light has dimmed but once again not gone out. Our exceptional memories of a wonderful Son, devoted Father and first class young man will last forever. John was everything one could hope for in a Son. Not one week ever went by without hearing from Jonney Bear. Granted, he never felt obligated to fill us in on some of his pre marraige escapades
but did we really want to know!
From a sick little boy suffering from asthma to the body builder charging down the slopes at Loon, he lived life to it's fullest.
Some day we will meet again in another place at another time.
Until then Sue and I along with our Daughter Keyland, Daughter in laws Pam and Kim as well as our Grandchildren thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your warm words and sincere support.

John "Everybody knows you are the coolest" Loughlin was the nicest and funniest person I ever met. God, did we laugh hard. He totally got it! Friends, family, howls and happy times personified Jam Joe. Without a time constraint on the eulogy, I'd still be at the pulpit telling stories. Every time I begin to feel bad for myself that I lost my best friend, I think of Pam, Madeline, Mike, Sue and Keyle who need every ounce of our collective energy and prayer to recover from this tragedy. God bless you Johnny, I love you.

So sorry to hear about John, I went to Camp William Lawrence (N.H.) with both Paul and John, can't believe that both are gone. One memory I have is Of John, we called Sherm, saving Bill Russell's life down at the waterfront of camp, pulling him out of the water and performing CPR. He had tried to swim underwater from dock to dock.Your dad saved him!! God bless

Do not weep for John. Throw your head back and laugh, laugh long and hard and like you mean it. Throw your head back and laugh, just like John did. Let all of us band together to teach Madelyn how to laugh, just like her daddy. Help her to see her glass as half full, like her daddy, to make friends, and play well with them, to carry her father's joy in her heart, through all of her life, and to share her joy with her beloved mother, Pam. That will be our best memorial to John, and to a rich, and full, and loving life for his baby, Madelyn.

John looked out for every individual; he cared about everyone. He'd search you out, not just to say hello, but to see how you're doing. He always had a positive attitude, a smile, and a nickname for you.

Dear All, what can one say about John Q. Public. He was the source of so much adventure and comedy. I will never forget the late spring session at Killington or the the trips in creakin joints to any ski destination. John was one of the only guys that shared in my triple life at Ply State. A college student who always enjoyed the Tenny Mountain Highway experience, As an "Ringer" in the Plymouth Fire department Ski Muster and as Ski Instructor at loon mountain who always seemed to get the Saturday morning Mass Ski club . Well Johhny I will always dedicate the the first winter and last spring run to you no matter where it is. God Bless.

Johnny was a force of nature. He always had a story - a funny one at that - and was ALWAYS completely "pos". His guest appearances at the beach were always anticipated by many. We'll have to get Red Ruprecht humming again so we can toast you, Johhny, with a coldy. God bless.

Your happy voice and positive outlook will be sorely missed. I would like nothing more than to see your smiling face and feel your heartwarming hug. Willieman, your Godson, Catherine and Andy your "nieces and nephew" will miss out on your handshake lessons, quick wit and loving attention.
