I'm so sorry for your loss. John was such a sweet man. I met him while working with Mishka at petassage.

John carried himself with ease. Always calm, softspoken, affable. It was easy to like John, to work with him, to count on him. I knew him and Lou first through Metroparks, but we stayed in touch regularly as friends and through their business. John was truly one of the good guys. Condolences to Lou and family. He will be sorely missed.

I first met John in 1981 when I first started working at the Metroparks. At first I thought he belonged on the cover of a Three Dog Night album! I told him that years later and he liked that thought. Over the following years we had worked the walleye run together, and salmon fished with the Maumee cops up in Michigan for several years.
