Not sure what to say?

John was always the best of buddies and the most fun of any cousin. When we were together, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves roaming the woods and creeks at my house. Climbing through construction tunnels and up trees at his house. We spent summers trying to determine the best crawdad bait and building tree houses. I always looked forward to the infrequent visits we had together as adults. The last few months of his illness as Jim, my husband and he were battling the same illness and...

Marcia and Family,
I was extremely saddened to hear of John's recent passing. He was a genuine person and he surely will be missed by many including myself. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.

I so enjoyed John as a friend, as well as someone we did "builder business" with, too.
John & Larry built the first home that CJ & I shared, and we loved them when it was done, too (not a typical experience). So sorry to hear that Melbourne and our world will miss a great man, father, husband and friend.
John was one of the nicest guys who ever beat me in racquetball (there are a LOT of people who beat me, but John was one of the kindest, with the most class). ken

It was my pleasure to have cross paths with John during a few phases in our lives. I played softball with him for awhile, and I also played raquetball with him. My life was made richer by having known him.

Marcia and Family:
Growing up in eastern Missouri, we were always going to visit Aunt Alma and Uncle Cecil at their place in St. Louis or their place in Desoto OR they were coming to visit us at my grandparents' farm in Horine OR we were gathering at Aunt Ruth's place in Desoto. The highlight of the trip for me was always when John was also at these gatherings. John always took the time to visit with me and talk about what was going on in my life. Our conversations most always included...

Marcia and Family,
John was an exceptional man and has touched the lives of many people including my own. I’m very honored that I was able to work with him on one of his many Habitat projects. I’m extremely sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family always.

Graeme and my son Ian played baseball together many years ago in West Melbourne. Our loss is Heavens gain. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. John was a fine example of how to live your life. John will be greatly missed.

I was so sorry to hear of John's passing. I've known him for many years in business. He was not only a well respected businessman but an asset to the community in all the organizations he was involved with. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.

Marcia and family, Hal and I are so sorry John is gone, he was such a wonderful cousin, I recall all the good times we had as kids, and then later when we vivited you in Florida and you came here....it is a loss for all of us, but especially for you closest to him.
