Not sure what to say?

20 years later ,Uncle Romeo. We loved you and think of you often .We remembered going with you to the Republican Convention in Detroit .You were so proud of your "job"there even though we were way up in the bleacher seats. we remember Love loves Love Hate hates Hate.

Uncle Romeo...... we think and talk about you all the time... you are missed and loved by your Michigan family. xxx

I am deeply saddened by the loss of John Marquis. He was a wonderful neighbor, very kind and caring. My little boy will always remember the treats that Mr. Marquis would bring him and I will miss our many conversations over tea.
My condolences to the Marquis Family and Friends

You will always be "Uncle Romeo" to me. Your charm, your smile, your wisdom, your pride for our family and country, your words and thoughts will always be etched in my heart. God truely blessed us with you ... Peace be with you ... what a reunion there must be in Heaven right now... ChrisTina Marie Kelso-Tomasik

I was not able to see my Great-Uncle Romeo but a few short times on my visits to Connecticut. I will however greatly remember my trip to McDonald's with him and my dad (John Churchill) where he attempt to continuely put a $20 bill in my pocket. I will greatly miss him and his wonderful sense of humor! He was a great man with many great ideas!

Thanks for everything Uncle Romeo! I'm glad to have been able to chat with him on the phone one more time before his trip to Heaven.

I remember the words that Uncle Romeo had printed on blue T-Shirts about 20+ years ago:

We fought for America
We suffered for America
We died for America
We are Americans and
we are patriots

"Great" Uncle Romeo,
Thank you so much for the kindness and generosity you gave to me and my family through the years. We will surely miss you. You truly were great.

Our sincere condolences to John's family. I'll never forget the time that he took Denise and I out to lunch. He was a great guy!

We will miss our Uncle Romeo. In the final days, as through the years, he brought us close to our "Marquis" family.
