Andrew was a student in my world literature course in the fall of 2018 at Clemson University. I found him to be an intelligent, empathetic, and very likable young man. He had a good sense of humor and left a strong impression. I enjoyed his thoughtful contributions to the class discussions. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing, and my thoughts and prayers are with his parents and family.

Words are hard to come by right now. I am heartbroken to hear about Andrew's passing. I met him once when he was, I'm guessing, about 11 years. He had a fishing pole in his hand and a big smile on his face. I thought what a kind and polite youngster he was. My heart and prayers go out to all his family and his friends. I had a few classes with Andrew over the last couple of semesters and we would always sit together and talk. He was such a nice guy and very intelligent. I am deeply sorry for those who were close to him. I am very grateful that he was my friend and I will always remember him.
