John Mayfield

Becky, I was so sorry to hear of John´s passing. You and he were one of the first couples we met at St. Matthew´s Church, and I have some wonderful memories of times there, like the Young Adults group that we started. John was always gregarious, jolly, witty, and fun to be around. I know it will be hard for you without him. Sending all my love, Vivian Rome

Becky, I was so sorry to hear about John. I will always remember his hearty laugh. I hope you are doing ok.

I remember Johnny during the 1950's/early 1960's when I was a boy and neighbor on Sunderland Road in the Westham area. He was six years my senior. He was athletic then and remember him swimming and diving at the Kimbrough's pool across the street. I also remember his sister, Cissy, and her horse which she stabled in the backyard. John I´m gonna miss you so much. But you have gain your wings so rest in paradise.. God I´m gonna miss you. I love you John Mayfield and your family..

I knew Mr. Mayfield from Mailing Service he was a delight to be around and often invited us to his home to his fish fry crab fest My condolences to the family and God bless you in your time of grief
