John McAllister

As a very young lady(18) I went to work at Jackson Packing Co. I worked in the business office and visited the plant a couple of times a day. John (Mac) as we called him was normally there at each visit and was always a hoot! He always picked on me as being a baby and the apple of my grandfather's eye. My grandfather, Herbert Richardson and Uncle Vonaview Richardson worked in the plant as well and knew and liked Mac too. I will always appreciate Mac's sweet demeanor and caring spirit towards...

So very sorry to learn of John's passing. He was a character and always had a ready smile. My prayers are for comfort for all of you.

Linda, John was a very nice young man and I thought about him not long ago while going thru my annual from Central. I knew him at Hardy Jr. High also and I keep our 9th grade class picture out. We know where he is now and that is with the Lord and you will see him again. May GOD bless you and your family at this time.

Linda...what a flash from the past. So sorry to hear of Mac's passing. I loved you both, in separate lives, but am so thankful you found each other and had so many good years together. One of my best memories of him, was going to the pool hall, and watching him play, while we waited on Kent to get out of summer school. He was always a HOOT!!!! I pray that God wraps His loving arms around you all, and gives you His peace, strength and grace..much love STILL.....
