Did my freshman year English Composition on the Prisoners of War returning from Viet Nam. Though that was 45+ years ago, I remember clearly the torture, mentally, emotionally, physically that these men endured. Hat's off to John McCain and every other war p.o.w. having served in the US military, ever.

Thank you and your family for your service. You will be missed terribly. May you rest in peace.

Senator Mc Cain, I still can't believe your gone. So many, and so much wonderful things you spearheaded or invoked, and so very much left that you could , and would have done. Once again, thank you so very much, and to your wonderful family thank you for sharing your husband, your Father, and etc. you will be in our hearts forever, and we can never Thank You enough for all that you done for the people. I did not know John McCain. I am not a Republican. However, I did vote for him in the 2008 elections. I felt he was the best qualified to be our president and one rare person who had integrity, compassion, empathy, courage and valor. I would have been proud to call him my president. However, his voice continued in the Senate, standing by his convictions without fearing nor thinking of repercussions. A great loss to his family and to this country he so proudly fought for.
