John was a very good friend and fraternity brother at Creighton University. He was a kind and humble man. He always made me smile and feel welcome around him. My sincere condolences to his family. May Lord bless him and keep him.

I was John's Freshman year roommate at Creighton. I was sad to learn the news that he passed. He was a thoughtful and kind person. He was a great roommate and I remember our many conversations fondly. John and I stayed in touch throughout college; however, the graduating class of 1991 did not have cell phones and social media to stay in touch.
