Father Nixon became an important part of my then young families lives when he first came to Trinity Episcopal when my husband had his first open heart surgery. He had continued to follow us through our lives. Enjoying our boys accomplishments. We loved seeing him back at Trinity when we were home in Michigan for holidays. He shared a great love of music with our son James. Rest in heaven father Nixon you will be missed.

Our memories of Nixon are far reaching and always uplifting. Prior to our being parishioners at Trinity, Grand Ledge, we knew him through his glorious ministry of music and the AGO in which we enjoyed so much organ and choral opportunities. We will miss Nixon´s spiritual leadership, of course, but also his unique sense of humor and always spirited conversation. RIP, dear Nixon. Kalmin and Marsha Smith
