Not sure what to say?

Jack, we had many memories and celebrations together when I worked at the Omni Hotel, whether marketing functions together or hosting Travel Host's annual Awards Banquet for Richmond Hotel Housekeepers. Golfing was another fun and bonding activity for us. Especially when golfing with Willie Lanier on a Par 5 and with a 7 iron he hit the green over 200 yards away. Sorry to hear this. My condolences to the families for 100% Richmond loss a general.

So terribly sorry to learn of Jack's passing. He gave me my first job in the "Big City", after having moved up here from NC, to RVA at 21 y/o. I think he was mostly fascinated with my sharp Southern drawl - and, despite no previous restaurant experience, he gave me my start in the Service/Hospitality industry....I'll forever be grateful. He was respected and loved by everyone who met him. Rest in Peace kind, sir. Until we meet again...

My first school dance was at Olean Jr. High School- Jack was my date. His Father drove us to the dance. Jack and I remained friends all our school years and far beyond. He was a fine person- he lives on in memories. Thank you Jack.
