Not sure what to say?

I think of John often. It was a pleasure to have known him and I am so thankful that I was able to visit with him just a few days before he was called home. He was a great father, a devoted husband, and a dedicated friend. He made me laugh. I will always remember him.

I miss you very much, John. You were the star of our family. Thank you for sharing your wonderful life and times with me. It was just too short. Thanks to our Florida family for all they did. John's final send off was a very emotional and spiritual experience. It really helped.
Love, Ricky

I was so sad to hear of John's pasing. I have such great memories of our times together in scouts. I will always remember John's laugh and the look in his eye just before he let fly with a hilarious remark. From the entries here I see that he has made a big mark in his life. My prayers are with you.

Dear Johnny,
I am grateful for my Golden Heart Medal, and that you could take
my rosary with you. As your Godmother, I appreciated you as a child, and as an adult. You were a very good Son, and a wonderful Husband, and Father to your three
beautiful sons. I felt that the World was a better place because you have been in it, and so sorry to have lost you. I will do what I can for your children, I promise you.
Much Love, Suzanne Winslow

John, dearest nephew and friend, your love, great wit, bravery and intelligence filled our family with
much joy. You honored us greatly naming your children after our
family members. I will always
love you and hold you in the light.

Aunt Grace

Our son John has left this earth, but he has not left our hearts. Patricia and the boys are the treasured gifts
he left behind for us.
Watch over us Johnny, and bring us
peace. Love, Mom and Dad

Johnny was my older brother and only sibling. I have fond childhood memories of traveling together on the bus for bowling outings, fishing adventures, and games of miniature golf during family vacations to Lake Tahoe. Contact was less frequent as adults, but I always knew John was there if I needed him, and expected him to be with me until old age. I am incredibly saddened by his loss and it’s impact on all of his family and friends.

I am saddened to learn of "Johnny's" passing. Our years of growing up together in San Anselmo, and family ties to scouting bring back many wonderful memories of John, including a couple back packing trips with my family during the summer. He truly was one-in-a-million! My prayers go out to all his family. I'm so sorry for your loss.
