Hello, We wanted to let you know that we will be honoring and remembering your loved one this holiday season. We are sending Care Packages to our deployed troops in his name. Each package will carry the name, photo, service branch, rank and hometown of John Mele US Army Sergeant. We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth...

We were so shocked to hear of John's tragic passing. We wish we had the right words to say but please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. John will be sorely missed by everyone. You have our sincere and heartfelt sympathy.

Hey Mele, Thanks for being a good soldier and friend, you were very helpful to me in Iraq OIF3. I cannot think of a more gentler but courageous soldier than you.

John and I were good friends in high school. He was a sweet guy and I think about him from time to time. He made such an impact. He will forever be in my heart.
