To John's children, friends chosen to be family, all of his family, I share your shock and sadness, And will miss seeing him walking up the 18th, always with a small smile, as he was very much in the moment, and golf was his meditation.

Sending my deepest condolences to Johnny's family. He was like family to us. I'm being completely honest when I say he was one of the most self-less, kind, caring people I've ever known. He was always there for his family and friends. He will be terribly missed. Until we meet again, John. Rest Peacefully.

I knew John in his early years at NDWH High School '68-'70. I can't remember how it happened but we got picked as escorts for 'frosh-girls' to attend the New Haven Lawn Club's posh-Debutante Ball in one of those years. We rented tuxes and dazzled our dates with good Polish swing waltzes, polkas, and modern moves on the grand 2nd floor dance hall. John, always had a bit of a movie star's shine around him, and ever terrifically funny and astute. God will grant him a swell eternity mixing it up...
