Not sure what to say?

Jenny:

I am deeply sorry for your loss.

John interviewed me right before his promotion, and I still remember his goofy laugh during our interview. (Plus, he asked me if was a Packers' fan, and I told I could never be one b/c I was a 49ers fan...deep wounds there, you know.)

I always remember his smile whenever I ran into him in the hallways.

I will always be grateful for all of his efforts to make us all feel so welcome at the "U".

I just learned of Dr. Moffitt's passing on last night. I was a long time patient of his, until I no longer had trouble with my asthma. Here I am some 15-17 odd years laters looking for best doctor I ever had because my asthma has come back. My mother encourageD me to look him up because she, too, knew he was excellent at his craft. Now, I am searching for a practicioner as congenial, caring, and concerned as Dr. John E. Moffitt.

I have just found out of Dr. Moffitt's death. When I was 4 years old, when nobody else gave me a chance at life, Dr. Moffitt diagnosed me with hypogammaglobulinemia. I always looked at him like the savior of my life with Gods help. I am so sorry of your loss. He will forever be missed by my whole family. I will always be so greatful to have had him in my life!!!

I just learned of Dr. Moffitt's death. I have deep sense of loss for someone who I have always felt to be a wonderful physician. John was a chief resident in Pediatrics when I was a medical student. I regretted not having worked with John when I elected to not complete my residency at UMC. He was one of the most easy going and competent physicians I have known. I will miss him, he was a great guy.

I offer you my condolenses at your family's loss. Dr. Moffit treated my daughter as an infant (now 21) and I will never forget his warmth, kindness and determination. My former sister-in-law worked for him a number of years and adored him. He will be missed. God Bless You.

Jenny.....We just heard today of your John's sorrowful passing...we ache for you and your children so. I recall warmly your early marriage and children which so closely parralled ours. Our love and prayers to you for your grief~

Over 20 years ago, during his residency, I met Dr Moffitt and he eventually became my immunologist. Dr Moffitt was a man that had significant impact on the world. He often inspired me and I still think about how much he cared about each and everyone of his patients. He will be greatly missed by many, but now he is taking care of God's patients...

On behalf of the FL Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Society I would like to express our sincere sympathy at this great loss. Dr. Moffit was scheduled to speak at our 2008 Annual Meeting. After reading all the wonderful messages I wish I would have had the opportunity to meet him. May the Lord bring peace to your hearts during this difficult time!

I have just learned of Dr. Moffitt's death and am so very sorry for your loss. He was my daughter's and my son's allergist and was always very kind and understanding.
