Not sure what to say?

HELLO ALL, OUR DEEPEST RESPECTS I AM GLENN LITZ , JOHN AND MY FATHER WERE IN THE NAVY TOGETHER AND WERE GOOD FRIENDS. FACT I GREW UP IN CHARLESTON WITH OUR FAMILIES DOING MANY FUN EVENTS TOGETHER, JOHN AND JUDY WERE CLOSE PLAYMATES. WE DID EVERYTHING FROM PLAYING ON THE SHIPS TO PLAYING IN THE PARK AND BEACHES. WE WERE AS NAVY LIFE TAKES THINGS SEPARATED AND ENDED UP BACK IN NEW YORK. BUT THAT DID NOT ENTIRELY SEPARATE US, WE COMMUNICATED BY MAIL AND OCCASIONAL PERSONAL VISITS TO ONE...

JOHN WAS ONE GREAT GUY, I AM SORRY TO HAVE MISSED HIS RETURN TO GODS SPECIAL PLACE. I / WE WERE JUST RECENTLY WAS INFORMED OF JOHNS PASSING. I WAS AFFILIATED TO JOHN AND JANE THROUGH MY MOTHER AND FATHER - JUNE AND AL LITZ [ NAVY ], SYRACUSE NEW YORK. DAD SERVED WITH JOHN IN THE NAVY AND THEY WERE GREAT FRIENDS. WE LIVED TOGETHER THERE IN CHARLESTON WHILE THEY WERE TRAVELING WITH THE NAVY. JOHN , JUDY AND MYSELF PLAYED TOGETHER. WE TRAVELED DOWN TO CHARLESTON MANY TIMES TO VISIT WITH THEM...

Cheryl and family,
I am so sorry for your loss.

To Cheryl and family. Sending condolences. The picture video is beautiful!! (NCHS class of 76)

I have very fond memories of your dad. He was one of the great generation and he lived it. I love all you girls and always felt I was still part of the greater family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I join in the celebration of your father's life.

Sorry to read about John's death. He and his family were very good friends while we were raising our families. He was also a very good co-worker of mine in the Gyro Shop at CNSYD. I know he will be missed by many.

So sorry to hear about your Dad! Hoping fond memories will ease sorrow and sadness.
Sincerely,
Wayne and Dawn(Ellison) Smith, NCHS,1973 &1974

Cheryl and family,
What a great life this man had. May you be at peace with his memory.
